Jasmin Garcia-Verdin

Inspired by my love of the past, nature, and fashion, I'm a latinx illustrator with a passion for storytelling. I make warm and whimsical illustrations with an organic, hand-drawn touch for projects in publishing and animation.

I have an online store and I'm currently working on personal projects, like my ongoing sci-fi webcomic, Spacewarriors,  and a graphic novel that takes place in medieval France. I have had one piece recognized by the Society of Illustrators LA with another honorably mentioned by 3 x 3. I'm in the Women Who Draw directory.

I've lived in Mexico and New Jersey, and currently I reside in Los Angeles (where I was born). I majored in History, with minors in Business and Design---and have worked in all of those fields (including a museum!)

On my free time I love to read and write, and film vlogs for

About 2_edited.png

"Jasmin is the perfect artist to work with. Professional and wildly creative. I am so grateful to her for creating a beautiful cover to my book and gorgeous interior pages too. She went above and beyond and I can't wait to work with her again...[she] is an absolute dream to work with. Very communicative, articulate, and passionate. She offered me various designs and versions and made the process more like a dance than a deadline (and my deadline was tough). I look forward to working with her again and would recommend her very highly."

-Chantel C. Lucier, author of Something New Every Day

"It was a pleasure working with Jasmin. She was super easy to work with, very efficient, and a very talented artist. I highly recommend her for your job!"
